Song of the Humpback Whale

Welcome to the Home page of Tom Crammond. I acquired the title, "Humpback Whale" because I am the Humpback Whale (secretary) of the Harpooners of the Sea Unicorn - a Sherlockian Society. A Sherlockian is anyone who enjoys Holmes and Watson, there are no other requisites.
For an introduction into the World of Sherlockian Societies and Sherlockiana, please go where "It is always 1895,"
My Sherlockian Page.

I am a retired music teacher and a musician (guitarist) with varied interests including the aforementioned Sherlockiana which is the inspiration for this web site. In June of 2009, I retired from K-6 vocal music teaching. Additionally, I am a retired college music instructor, having taught in the Music Department at Lewis and Clark College.  I also do some private music instruction, and occasionally, I play professionally. In addition to music and Anglomania, I find time for tennis, fishing, travel, and computer technology which continues to perplex and fascinate me!  I am an avid tennis player, I play on a (USTA League) team, and I am a USTA (United States Tennis Association) official. My current passion is bass fishing! I have just started a Bass Fishing page, but it is still under construction.
