The Adventures of Ulysses Map Assignment

On pages 544-545 in your textbook you will find a map that charts Ulysses’ adventures. The map has numbers that correspond to a legend telling briefly what happened.

Your assignment is to take a blank map and create your own legends. For each adventure you should have a symbol that represents what happened at that location.

In the bottom left corner will be an explanation of each symbol.

Be creative, colorful, neat, and precise!

Think carefully about each story before choosing a symbol.

Grading:

Each adventure has an appropriate symbol – 32 points (2 points each)

Each symbol has an explanation on the legend in the bottom left corner – 32 points (2 points each)

The map is precise – 32 points (2 points each)

The map is neat and colorful – 10 points

TOTAL – 106 points!
