Act One:
Write a letter of advice to Miranda about her feelings toward
Ferdinand. Use reasons to support your
advice. The letter must be at least 150
words long.
Act Two: You
now have Caliban in your employment and he will do as you instruct. Keep in mind how he looks and how he
talks. Now, make a top 10 list of what
you will make him do now that he works for you.
Act Three:
Miranda and Ferdinand have confessed their love for each other and they,
it appears, will be getting married.
You are to write their wedding vows to each other. Each person’s vows should be a minimum of 30
words.
Act Four: Miranda has witnessed a lot at the end of
this act and she probably is feeling many different emotions. You are Miranda. Write in your diary a minimum of 75 words about how you feel and
your reaction to all that has happened.
Act Five:
Shakespeare was a poet and now you are, too. Write an apology poem of four lines from one character to
another. Within the poem must be the
name of the person apologizing and the person to whom he or she is apologizing. An example is below:
I, Alonso, stabbed you in the back
I’m sorry Prospero for giving you flack
I’ve caused your smile to turn to a frown
But now I give back your royal crown
