Love: Do you believe in love at first sight? Do you think that when two people “fall hard” for each other right away, their relationship is likely or unlikely to last? Are parents good judges of their children’s boyfriends or girlfriends?
Ambition and Power: Why would anyone want to be king or president?
Evil: How would you define “evil”? What do you consider some examples of evil thoughts or actions? What characters (from movies, books, etc.) come to mind when you hear the term “evil”? Should evil acts be forgiven or do you believe in “an eye for an eye”?
Reality vs. Fantasy: Think of examples of dreams, magic, supernatural occurrences as portrayed in literature, music videos, films, etc. How are these treated? With humor? Seriously?
Conscience: What does it mean to “have a conscience”? What is a “guilty conscience”?
