Choose a poem (either one from our poetry unit or one from another source) that you like and then create a poster for it. Illustrate the poem using ideas generated from reading the poem. You may use hand drawn art, pictures from magazines, photographs, or computer generated art.
The poem must be part of the poster!
Grading:
Neatness 10 points
Poem on the poster 10 points
Illustrations 35 points
Correct poster size 5 points
To earn the full 35 points for the illustrations they must capture what is happening in the poem, the tone of the poem, and imagery within the poem.
