Using newspapers you will compile a newspaper scrapbook. This project is worth 100 points.

Inside of your scrapbook you should have the following information IN THIS ORDER:

1) A headline

2) An ad

3) A quote

4) An editorial

5) A dateline

6) An A.P. article

7) A flag

8) An ear

9) A cutline

10) An index

11) A jump

12) A byline

13) A banner

14) An obituary

15) Art

16) A local story

You will underline and label each of the items above in the article(s).

The following grading scale will be used to grade your newspaper scrapbook:

The book is neatly compiled 1 2 3 4 5

Neatness in labeling and underlining and use

of correct spelling 1 2 3 4 5

Contains all 16 articles listed above in correct order

and all items are underlined and labeled. Spelling for this is correct. Each of the 20 items is worth 5 points for a total of 90 possible points for the items. /90

You will receive a score of zero for any item that is omitted from your newspaper scrapbook.
